Civil & Infrastructure Projects
A growing SME in Malaysia’s construction sector is looking for a capable and committed Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution of infrastructure and land development projects across Peninsular Malaysia.
Specializing in earthworks, structural works, and commercial site development, the company delivers projects for both private and public sector clients. As their project pipeline grows, they are seeking someone hands-on who can manage site activities and ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and according to plan.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily site operations and ensure progress aligns with project schedules
Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, construction standards, and company policies
Coordinate material deliveries, site logistics, and equipment planning
Conduct site inspections, monitor work quality, and resolve issues as they arise
Maintain accurate site records and prepare regular progress updates for the project team
Support the Project Director and senior management in project delivery
What They're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of site management experience in infrastructure or building projects
Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and local compliance standards
Practical leadership skills and ability to coordinate multiple on-site activities
Familiarity with tools such as MS Project or equivalent is an advantage
Clear communication and problem-solving skills, especially in dynamic site environments
