Ental is a specialist Engineering and Manufacturing recruitment firm with offices in Malaysia and Singapore, serving the Advanced Manufacturing, Mobility, Industrial and Energy industries.
We run two practices. Our search practice delivers retained and contingent mandates for Engineering, Manufacturing and Corporate functions. Our RPO division embeds dedicated recruitment teams inside client organisations, taking on hiring programmes end to end for companies scaling quickly.

Leadership • Founder & Managing Director
Marcus Chin
Marcus founded Ental in 2025 and leads the firm across Malaysia and Singapore, overseeing both its search practice and RPO division.
Before founding Ental, Marcus became the most successful consultant in Hays Malaysia’s 15- year history. He was promoted seven times to become its youngest ever Senior Manager, leading a 25-person team across Life Sciences, Procurement, Supply Chain and Engineering.
He went on to lead permanent recruitment for The Adecco Group in Singapore, running a 40 - person business spanning executive search, RPO and mass recruitment.
Marcus holds a CEMS Master in International Management. He is based in Singapore and splits his time with Kuala Lumpur
A Note From Our Founder
I have spent more than a decade recruiting for engineering and manufacturing, first at Hays and The Adecco Group, and now at Ental.
In that time, the most significant change I have seen is not a new platform or technology. It is the widening gap between noise and signal.
Applications are now generated by the thousand. CVs are written by AI. Profiles and interviews often tell different stories. For leadership teams, identifying the right person has become harder, not easier.
Our first appointment at Ental made the point. An Engineering Manager with twenty years at one of the world’s leading multinationals, who had not updated his CV in years. He was not looking. We reached him through a referral.
That is the work we exist to do: to find the people who are too focused on their craft to be on the market, and to earn their trust.
I founded Ental to build a firm where every consultant is dedicated to one function and one industry, where relationships are measured in years, and where clients rely on our judgement, not simply our reach.
Engineering and manufacturing in this region are entering a period of rare growth. It is a privilege to help build the teams behind it.

2025
Founded with a Focus
Ental is established with licensed entities in Malaysia and Singapore, and launches its search practice.
2026
RPO Division
We launch our RPO division, embedding dedicated recruitment teams within client organisations.
2026
First Year
We've made more than 100 appointments, with 70% of our work coming from returning clients.
