Planning Manager - Production & Materials

Our client is a global manufacturer of power solutions for semiconductor equipment, industrial and healthcare markets. It is opening a new manufacturing plant in Seri Iskandar, Perak, and building its team quickly.

About the Role

You will own end-to-end planning for the new plant across production, materials and shipments, through a high-mix, low-volume ramp-up. Materials will come from the company's Vietnam operation during the transition, so your planning will directly shape how fast the Malaysia site gets up to speed.

Key Responsibilities

Lead production, material and shipment planning for a high-mix, low-volume operation
Plan around international lead times and logistics as supply moves from Vietnam to Malaysia
Lead a team of 3–4 planners
Run planning in SAP and support the upgrade of its planning module
Work with operations, procurement and customer teams to meet delivery commitments

Key Requirements

Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or a related field
Strong production and material planning background in manufacturing, ideally EMS, electronics or semiconductor equipment
Experience leading a planning team
Solid SAP planning experience
Regional exposure is an advantage
Willing to travel to Vietnam at the start, then plant-based
