About the Role

 

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (Project) to join our engineering team, supporting the design and delivery of large-scale industrial projects across sectors such as semiconductor, data centres, advanced manufacturing, and other high-tech facilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for both engineering design and project management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with technical and quality standards. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the entire project lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Design and develop mechanical or electrical systems in accordance with project specifications, client requirements, and industry standards.
• Manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and technical deliverables are achieved.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project implementation.
• Review engineering drawings, technical documents, material specifications, and ensure compliance with design and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure work is executed according to approved designs and quality standards.
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports, technical submissions, and support project planning, risk management, and stakeholder meetings.

 

Key Requirements

 

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in both engineering design and project management.
• Strong experience delivering industrial projects such as semiconductor, data centre, pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing, or other high-tech industrial facilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
• Strong understanding of engineering design principles, project execution, and relevant industry standards.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
